Belmont Castle Academy is a ‘Healthy School’ and as such we offer a healthy snack, to KS1 to eat. The children will only be allowed to drink plain water so please do not send in any other drink. Once empty, it can be refilled from our cold-water machines/fountains.
Parents may choose whether or not their children go home for lunch, bring a packed lunch or prefer a cooked meal.

The school has a kitchen on site which provides a range of nutritious, healthy food. The lunchtime menu runs on a three week cycle and is displayed in the front entrance of the school or can be found below. If your child has special dietary requirements, please inform the school.
Don't forget, if your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 then they can get their lunchtime meal free of charge as part of the universal infant free school meal!
Your child may be entitled to free school meals. Even if your child does not wish to eat free school meals, but is entitled to them, it's worth applying because for each child entitled to free school meals the Academy could receive funding to help with tuition, resources, coaching and extra assistance.
All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are eligible for free school meals.
School meals for all other children must be paid for in advance and are at a cost of £2.45 a meal. Dinners can be purchased via the Gateway app by topping up your child's Lunch account.
